Elite Martial Arts

Congratulations to Our Newest Black Belts

Posted: July 26, 2015

Elite Martial Arts would like to congratulate our Newest Black Belts: Tara, David, Adam, and Ryan.

This was a really long and grueling test.  It went from 10am until 6pm.  Everyone did a phenomenal job, and we’re extremely proud of them.

We would also like to thank all of our existing Black Belts who came in and volunteered their time to support our newest black belts.  Namely:  Arryn (who came all the way from Portland), DeWayne, Neil, Joe, Patrick, Eric, David, Michael, Brandon, and Shane.  They did everything from shouting words of encouragement, to feeding pads, and sparring.

Happy Birthday Guro Dan

Elite Martial Arts would like to wish Guro Dan Inosanto a very Happy 79th Birthday.

Guro Dan is not only my Instructor, but a constant source of inspiration and encouragement.

He has helped so many people become better martial artists over the years, but more importantly is the example that he sets in his daily life.  His humility and genuine kindness is what makes him not only a great instructor, but a phenomenal person.  He has a way of inspiring everyone around him to become better martial artists, but more importantly, better people.

Happy 4th of July

Elite Martial Arts would like to wish everyone a very happy and safe, 4th of July weekend.

Special Thanks for Help with Testing

Posted: June 21, 2015

Elite Martial Arts would like to thank everyone that helped us to make our June Testing run so smoothly.  Specifically, Simo Jen, who printed certificates, took pictures, and did everything in between.

Ryan, who administered some of the tests and also helped with judging and feeding.

And to all our Black Belts and ITP members who helped feed and also helped with judging.  Namely: DeWayne, David, Rob, Annil, Jason, Shane,  Andres, Tara, and Francis.

This was a really great test, and I’m extremely proud of the way in which they demonstrated the material.  It was non-stop for 2 and 1/2 hours and they both did a phenomenal job.
