Bad Sportsmanship in a Muay Thai Fight

Posted: March 18, 2011

Let me first say that I love Muay Thai. In the overwhelming majority of matches, fighters are extremely professional and respectful. Unfortunately, this was not one of those matches. It starts out normally and then gets totally out of control.

Posted: March 14, 2011

I just got back from the 4 day Instructor Camp at the Inosanto Academy in Marina Del Rey, CA. It was a lot of fun, and I learned a lot.

It’s great to be able to constantly work with some of the best martial artists in the world.

We trained in a variety of styles. Jeet Kune Do, Jun Fan, Kali, Thai Boxing, BJJ, and Silat.

Instructor Camp at the Inosanto Academy

I had a great time training today at the Instructor Camp at the Inosanto Academy in Marina Del Rey, CA. It was nice to see old friends, and also to make new ones.

Nine hours of training today, and I look forward to some more tomorrow. My body hurts all over, but it was so much fun, that I would do it all over again. Today was like a martial arts marathon, and I can’t wait to run another leg of the race tomorrow.

Special thanks to Simo Jen for teaching the classes at our school, both yesterday and today. Also thank you to the ITP team that helped assist in classes.
