I just had an opportunity to see this film, and I thought it was pretty good. There is a lot of action and a lot of special effects. More importantly, it’s about having the right mindset, and being a good man.
Guro Dan Inosanto at the Smithsonian
Posted: October 28, 2011
October is Filipino American History Month. This is a replay of last year’s event at the Smithsonian. The event was entitled, “Filipino Martial Arts: From Kali and Escrima to Boxing”.
The first video is of Guro Dan Inosanto and Joel Clark, demonstrating Filipino Martial Arts. It’s a short clip and is very informative.
The second video is of the entire event. Guro Dan starts at around the 40 minute mark.(look for the blue line on the bottom of the video) Unfortunately, the second video will not be viewable on iOS devices. It has to be viewed on devices which support flash.

Bas Rutten on the Cartoon Network

One of my students posted this on facebook, and I think that it’s pretty cool. Bas Rutten has a great personality, and I think he’s the perfect person to encourage children to take steps to improve their health.

I was just curious to see how many of our students would like to see this movie when it comes out.
