Congratulations on Achieving Your Black Belt

Posted: March 05, 2012

Congratulations to Greg and Chauncy on passing their Black Belt test this past weekend. They did an excellent job on this very difficult test. The test itself was about eight and a half hours, so I’m sure that they will be sore for the next week or so.

We’d like to offer our special thanks to everyone that helped us on the sparring portion of the test. Namely: Ian, Dane, DeWayne, Brandon, Dan, Joe, and Fred. Your help and support is greatly appreciated.

A Great Time in Jacksonville

Posted: March 02, 2012

On February 25th and 26th, I and some of the students here at Elite Martial Arts had the privilege of attending a Dan Inosanto seminar in Jacksonville.

Everyone had a great time, and it was great for my students to be able to meet and learn from my teacher.

I would encourage anyone regardless of their “style” or martial arts background to attend one of Guro Dan’s seminars. More information on future seminars can be found on his website. www.inosanto.com.

We shot this video the other night, and we thought you might find it interesting.   It’s hard to do everything in a single take, so please take that into consideration, and let us know what you think.

Congratulations to Greg and Shawn on Passing Their Black Belt Pre-Test

Congratulations to Greg and Shawn, for doing an amazing job today on their Black Belt Pre-test.  The test was about 3 and 1/2 hours, and they were outstanding.  I look forward to seeing them perform on their Black Belt Test.

I would also like to thank DeWayne for helping us administer the test and continually motivating and encouraging everyone.  Your help was greatly appreciated.
